RENTAL AGREEMENT
I take responsibility for cleanup and conduct of my party. I hold Walton Hills Lake Trustees blameless to all liabilities. I agree to educate myself and my guests on, and to follow all Lake Rules and Regulations (a copy is posted at the Lake). Violation of these rules and regulations shall subject Member and Guests to expulsion and exclusion from further use of the Lake. I further acknowledge that the Walton Hills Lake Club is a SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK facility.
I understand that if my rented area is not cleaned according to the above agreement or tables moved and not reset that my security deposit will be forfeited and will not be returned by The Walton Hills Lake Club.
RULES & GUIDELINES
- All reservations must be made by a Member.
- The Member must be present during the entire party.
- Max occupancy is the TOTAL number of members and guests 2 years of age or older.
- Parties WILL be monitored.
- Each party is responsible for clean up after their party. The condition of the space should be the same as it was when you arrived, if not better. Any and all debris should be picked up. Please remove all signs, tape, tacks, and zip ties. Trash cans for your party need to be emptied at the end of your event or no later than 8:00pm. Trash should be taken to the dumpster and bags replaced. New trash bags can be found in the pavilion next to the red, emergency telephone. You are welcome to bring your own tables and chairs.
- Concession stand is available for all pavilion rentals and has running water, a refrigerator/freezer, electric stove, microwave and three compartment sink.
- Rental times M-Thurs 11a-8p. Fri-Sun 10a-9p.
- Cancellations must be made 72hours prior to the event. Cancellations less than 72 hours prior to the event will forfeit the rental fee. The security deposit will be returned.
- Parties require a minimum of 48 hours notice. In the event of a short booking, full payment & security deposit is required prior to final approval.
- Unscheduled parties will be asked to pay in full for their chosen space plus a $75 fee.
- Glass bottles not permitted outside the pavilion.
- No pets permitted at the Lake. Please notify your guests accordingly.
MEMBER CODE OF CONDUCT
- No political activity or advertising is allowed on Lake Property.
- No animals/pets are permitted in the Lake area with the exception of service animals.
- NO GLASS BOTTLEs are permitted. Please use metal cans, plastic containers, and Styrofoam or paper cups, and discard refuse in the proper containers.
- All vehicles must be parked in the designated areas, not in the emergency access drive.
- All members and guests must enter and exit the Lake through the Rotary Drive access road.
- Inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated and is grounds for immediate expulsion from the Lake. Any one of the following (but not limited to) shall constitute inappropriate behavior: lewd or obscene actions, any gestures sexual in nature, fighting, any action or form of provocation which may infringe on another person’s rights which may cause harm or injury to another and / or drunkenness and disorderly conduct. As a member/guest you are expected to be mindful that the Walton Hills Lake is a family facility and the rights of other members, families and their guests shall be paramount. It shall also be understood that a member shall be held accountable for the actions of their family and guests as if they themselves had committed the violation.
